Younger but smarter

You came up to me and told me what you were gonna do
And it would of hurt him...and you
I asked if there was a smarter way to go
But the only answer I got was no
I tilted my head I didn't get why not
But whenever I said something you put me on the spot
Now you're stuck...really stuck
And when you came over you said it was just your luck
Your boyfriends long gone
You said he wasn't that strong
But I warned you and told you not to do it
But there you go...you went and blew it
Your lifes messed up now more then ever
Your luck is gone what could be better
Stuck with a kid lifes thrown away
Oh boy, you just couldn't wait for this day
I might of been younger but I was smart
If you listened to me I would've been a big part
You asked for my help I tried to I swear
From day 1 I tried to be there
I was smarter that was true
But I just couldn't get through to you
I didn't understand why you had to do what you did
I didn't understand a bit!
Now I guess you don't want help from me
Still you can't see
If your boyfriend is gone and your stuck with a son
I'm saying you're not the only one
You should tell your family and get some help
Cause right now you can't help yourself
It's already messed up enough
You should really try to be tough
I warned you but I never understood
If I said you shouldn't....you probably would.
