Just One Chance

You can’t seem to understand how much he means to me
He’s the only guy who has ever made me happy
You know I like to help my friends when they are in need
I’m not only doing this to do a good deed
He was my best friend in the past
I know our relationship will always last
Why can’t you see?
How much he means to me

He got into drugs but now he wants out
So I'm here to help him not here to shout
He went to the pen for about 5 years
If he goes back in it would bring me to tears

I know he’s a bad *ss but he treats me well
He was always there for me whenever I fell
I’m in love with him and he’s in love with me
Please give us a chance this is our one and only plea

I’ve known him for years
I’ve cried so many tears
For him to change his life
And rid of this strife

He said he will try
He’s not like other guys
When he says something to me
It comes with a guarantee

He treats me like gold
He makes me warm when I’m cold
He buys me roses to make me smile
And he ‘s loved me so much for such a long while

He said I am his dream come true
And wants to start his life over new
All we ask you is for a chance
For you to just take a glance

And see how much I mean to him
He’d do anything for me on a whim
Please just look and you will see
Just how much he is in love with me
