I did look back

I did look back....you weren't there.
Looking for protection when I was scared.
I expected help, but you turned me down.
Because of that now I'm left to drown.
I saw you in a different way and helped you with so much.
And now I'm lost and gone for good not leaving behind a touch.
Still I sit and wonder if you ever changed your mind,
if you tried to come back, or were you just left blind.
Now I know I'll never get free,
I really wish you were there for me.
Stuck inside the worst place ever life is lost.
But it could of bin better.
Depending on people is bad enough
they turn you down when life gets rough.
