Obsession

Obsession has taken over my whole body
Running through my veins
Like a deadly virus
Weakening every organ I haveIt suffocates me by day
Strangles me by night
Stabs at my heart…
Trying to make it stop

It controls my every move
Making sure I self destruct
And hurt the ones around me
It’s the demon at my side

It’s like a plague that I’ve caught
That has taken over me
Every time I try to escape it
I end up failing

I have no choice
But to live with this obsession
Destroying me
Every second of my life.
