Confusion of a simple heart

When you finally find love, and know what it is,
You follow your heart till the end.
When you finally find love, and know what it is,
You will finally understand.
But why is it that love is so hard?
So many obstacles along the way.
Why is it that you are not here?
But oh so far away.

I've made mistakes by letting you leave,
And regret each one as I go.
How can I still say I love you,
When you made my heart so sore?

Love has always had two faces,
One side good and the other one bad.
But whatever mistakes I've made in my life,
You're the best love I've ever had.
