Broken wings

She liked butterflies with broken wings
she liked angels that couldn't sing
she knew death was just a part of life
she knew that threw God she would live twiceshe lived each moment as if it were her last
she knew that moments would come slow and some fast
she never looked into the eyes of someone she didn't love
she knew that love was special and should be placed above
she never held the hand of the heart she was going to break
she didn't give away her love she let others make that mistake
she never tried to change what wasn't in her hands
she knew no matter what the crime EVERYONE deserved a chance
she never tried to claim anything that wasn't hers
she knew no matter what came her way... Love would break life's curse
she never dreamed about tomorrow... Today has not yet ended
she knew that no matter how rough times could get anything could be mended
she loved the sound of laughter
she hated the sound of regret
she knew a smile from a child just had to be heaven sent
she never took life for granted... Even when it wasn't hers
she knew that living life to the fullest would fully quench her thirst
she knew that she could never get back the memories she had lost
she knew that her heart wouldn't forget and have to pay its cost
she never felt feelings that weren't really there
she knew that playing with anothers love would truly be unfair
she always thanked God for all he had given her
she knew no matter what the sickness... There would always be a cure
she knew that love was nothing without a hint of faith
she knew that life was not worth living till the end of the day.
