I'll never win

I feel the tears across my chin
I know I won't be the girl to win
You see her and him always together
They say they'll be forever and ever
I see him look over to me
I look back, but know we were never ment to be
I smile to him
He looks away
That’s me and him day to day
How I wish I could undo the past
And make our friendship last
Sometimes I stare to the sky
And just wonder, why?
And again, I feel the tears across my chin
Maybe, someday I'll be the girl that wins
