Forever I’ve searched for the answer.

Then God sent the answer to my prayers.

When I think of you during my long workday
I am overwhelmed by a strange feeling
A feeling that chases all the stress away
A feeling that’s so darn appealing.
It’s like you make me so very high
Like some prescription drug.
I am under the influence when you are nearby,
I think I have been bitten by the love bug.
I just can’t wait to see you again
To get my overdue dose
For you to alleviate my pain
And make me feel better where I hurt the most.
Before I met you the days were long
And the stress seemed too much to bear.
Now you’ve come along and righted my wrong
Giving me a reason to care.
I am no longer affected by stress
But welcome it everyday

And the words of encouragement you say.
These few words just cannot sufficiently express
The way that I feel about you.
I write them not simply to impress.
But must let you know they’re heart-felt and true.
I used to ask what’s the meaning of love?

I know now that love comes from above,
The Almighty sent you knocking on my door.
I always knew that God would hearken to me
He knew I would not give up the faith.
“Lord send her my way”, I’d pray nightly
Then finally you appeared at my gate.
Now here you are prevailing in my head

Welcome to my world, soon we shall wed
I am in love with you my sweet.
I open my heart, my mind and my soul
With you I share my life
To me you are more precious than gold
Wanna be with you in good times and strife.
Never knew that two souls could become one
O honey you’ve become a part of me.
Can you imagine a day without the sun?
You and I were meant to be.
Now this I pledge from this day on
I say this from the bottom of my heart
