Where’s Your Happiness

Yes I see you there all alone
Playing the same o sad song
Yea I see you there so clear
But in you mind your life disappears
You follow the footsteps of your father
The one who bought you life
Yet now he’s not there to shelter you from everyday blights
You get angry sometimes frustrated with the fights
Even your mom tells you things will be alright
But that was back then everything’s different
You’re the puppet everyone keeps shifting
You’re so trapped your blind to see
And I know in your mind it’s hard to breathe
When I see your beloved face you smile and say how was your day today?
You don’t worry when am around
Except when the phone rings making the same annoying sound
Am just wondering what you were like as a kid
If your life was better then it is
Were you happy, wild and free did you fall in love so beautifully?
Yet it seems to me your life is lock in the arms of the nurture one
Yes the one that calls you son
May be wrong and a tiny bit right somewhere it will be alright
Everyday you sleep on that same o bed so quietly dreaming the life you once had
You work throughout half of your life one day you got drunk wishing you had a wife
All those roads you came across fill with pebbles and stones you wonder why you love alone
So you grow stronger everyday even if everything you wish you had goes away
I see what you do now through my eyes
Am wondering have you happiness inside.
