 | I sat there screaming on the floor,
I wonder what I got that one for,
My eye is bleeding,
My head feels rocked,
I guess I shouldn't feel so shocked,
My friends they call me crazy,
My parents won't pick up the phone,
And each time he comes walking through the door,
It feels like lightning strikes the ground,
He wants me to be perfect,
He wants me to be right,
And each time I make a mistake,
He feels that he's the light,
My shoulder's throbbing and I look down,
Blood has stained,
My new satin gown,
That I bought for him,
To make things right,
On this sacred of all our nights,
You might not know,
So here it is,
Tonight is our anniversary,
Guess what,
It's the thirteenth.
