Everytime I close my eyes

Everytime I close my eyes,
all I see is you.
Before you came in my life,
my whole world was blue.
Everytime I close my eyes,
I just see us together.
Standing in the bitter cold,
just holding each other.

When I first met you,
I thought there was no chance.
Now everytime I see you,
all I do is dance.

Now whenever I close my eyes,
all I do is dream of me and you.
When we were young,
swimming in the stream.

Now everytime I close my eyes,
all I see is blanks.
‘Cause everything I did for you,
I never once got a thanks.

When you left,
my heart was in two.
But now that I have woken up,
I realize there was never me and you.

I've written something similar to this poem a few years ago. You did well with this.
