Saying Goodbye

As the days go by I’m growing
father away from you.
I’m wishing I never had to leave.
I don’t understand why I had to go, its not all clear or fair.

You’re my best friend, you were always there when I needed you.
We had our fights, but we got through them.
Now that I’m 1400 miles away from you,
We’re only looking forward to more great memories we could have.
The time we spent together will always be in my heart.
Yes, we will move on, but we will always keep in touch...
And remember,
Just because I said goodbye, it doesn’t mean I’m gone forever.
