My Days Are Dark
Happiness No More
My Life, An Empty Shell
Heaven Is The Path
In Which I Seek
To Rid Me From This Hell
Some May Say
Things Will Get Better
But, How Are They To Know
Most Who Speak
With Unknown Tongues
Have Lives With More To Show
The Only Reason I Move On
Is Not To Pain The Ones I Love
But My Shoes are Filled
By Only Me
And My Push Has Come To Shove
Lord Knows I've Searched
For Another Way
But Found No Open Road
My Mind Has Traveled
So Many Miles
It's Ready To Explode
I've Pushed So Hard
For One Step Foward
But Get Thrown One Step Behind
I've Hoped And Prayed
For A Miracle
That Could Switch My Life To Rewind
I Lay Myself To Sleep
On Each And Every Night
Hoping To Wake From This Nightmare
With A Chance To Make Things Right
Since This Will Never Happen
There's Only One Thing I Can Do
Is Pray To The Lord
For His Forgiveness
And Tell Friends And Family
"I Love You"!
