Cheated and lied to

I thought you loved me and only me.
Not no one else.
Why? How could you do that to me?
You played me like a fool.
But I was real cool through it all.
I didn't want to listen to what they all had to say.
But in the end...It was true.
I put up with it only because I loved you.

To think I knew it all along-that I was the only one for you.
I never wanted to believe it,
But I couldn't really live with it.
When we broke up I didnt know what to do.
All I knew is I wanted you.

Then the next day you called, so then I realized you cared for me too.
Maybe you knew just what you lost.
You lied and cheated.
It wasn't that fair.
I did nothing because I didn't care
