To Much To Lose

Got too much to lose...being like you. Playing your games of rightiousness and surrounding yourself by self-hate. I'm not going to lose not going to lose as much as you. You say that you can take on the world - with your own hands.I won't stand in the way. I'll let you believe that you can succeed by getting high off of a wanna-be cigarette. I have goals.. and dreams... that I am determined to achieve. I have a life. I have a future. I have a plan. I'm not gonna be like you. I'm not gonna be like you. It's a promise I made - meant to never break. Guess a vow would be a better thing - to everything that means anything but mostly to me. A vow to me a vow to me. I'm not gonna be like you. I'm gonna be different and not do the things you do. I might have made past mistakes... but its not the past anymore. Its a different day a day where all my mistakes can be washed away with no worry of heading in the wrong direction.. because I'm not gonna be like you. I'm not gonna be like you it's a promise I made meant to never break.Guess a vow would be a better thing - to everything that means anything... but mostly to me. A vow to me a vow to me. I'm not gonna be like you.
