Best night of my life

I'll always remember the star-lit sky
that night with you as the moon stood high
high above the treetops where the wind would brew
I gazed up at the stars as I sat with youThe crash of the waves and the cold winter breeze
The warmth of your love kept me from the freeze
We sat on the sand for quite a long while
that night on my face was a shimmering smile
my body so stunned and my face beat red
I was rendered quite speechless when you said
those three words with such a powerful meaning
it struck me with an unimaginable feeling
my stomache filled with emotional butterflies
I held you in my arms as I stared in your eyes
I know that those words were honest and true
and so I say "I love you, too".
