My face was burning hot

My face was burning hot
my hand was shaking
my knife made a nice little mark.
Halfway in the darkmy tears were dropping
then they suddenly stopped
I was numb
the pain was gone
I stopped showing my emotion from then on
I cut my wrist once
that's all it took
I'm better now
