I feel your pain as sharply as if it were my own. Or mabe that is my own heartbreak resurfacing. You are not alone. Everyone suffering sorrow is bound by their heart. We live amoung those happy people, with bright smiles on our faces, trying to fit in. You never know us apart from them, but inside we die slowly with every lied "I'm GREAT how are you" and each "happy" grin.
My boyfriend and I broke up after 2 years and I feel so empty. But why drag on a pointless relationship instead of facing your own fears of loneliness, especially when you are in great pain either way. Having a significant other isn't all it's made up to be, but still other "happy" people continue to badger us and cut us down and ruin our self estime if we don't. All anyone wants is love, but even that has been comercialized and twisted into something that can hardly be recognized.
Anyways, I sort of ran off there. I just wanted to say that you're not alone. Chin up kid! if we pretent to be happy along with the rest of them. who knows? We might fool ourselves into believing it.

No...Joey is Bisexual...

In grade 8 I had a serious mental problem. I would always pretend to be happy, and always smiling, but then every month for a certain time I would just get so depressed it was just unbelieveable. I lost faith in everything, and had no motivation. Weirdly it still kinda happens now, but just less frequently.

I remember when me and Joey first became friends, My depression just washed away, I was always happy for no particular reason. Sigh, I wanna feel like that again...
