Before he was born his father left his mother and him alone. His mother was 19. What could an unborn child have possibly done to deserve this? Least does he know that that was only a part of the pain he will feel in his years to come.
His mother found someone right away. She got pregnant when he was 2, and married. He was 3 when his little sister was born. A beautiful little girl named Caroline.
The end of his happiness for the next 6 years...
Since he was 5, his step-father became more, and more violent. He would beat Alex, for little accidents he would make. A little boy...only 5 years old, how could anyone sit back and see that. He couldn't do anything, he was only 5. He thought that this man was his dad, but little did he know it was just an imposter. This physical harassment continued for 5 years.
When Alex was 10, and Caroline was 7, they were having fun by jumping on the couch. The stepfather was sleeping and woke up. He got up and did something horrifying. He took a cable wire...and beat Alex. He was about to do the same to Caroline, but Alex put his hand in the way. It Broke.
Their mother finally took a stand. She left the man, with her 2 kids, never to return again.
When Alex was 13 his mother told him the truth. That man wasn't his father. He was Devestated. He asked his mom who his real dad was, and she said a man named Richard.
Alex found out months later, that that wasn't his real dad. His real dad was named on. He lived in Florida. He had his own family.
Alex talked to his real dad for the first time when he was 14. He asked him why he left. He received no answer. Alex hung up. Alex is now 16. He hasn't talked to his dad since, nor does he ever plan to.
