We talked we laughed, you tried your best

We went out to parties, or sometimes stayed home
Had fun times together when we were alone
Soon time went on and our bond grew strong
School was almost over, so there wasn’t long
You needed a break, I gave that to you
But that for me, was so hard to do
I missed you heaps, you just don’t understand
You weren’t there anymore holding my hand
I’d hope you'd come back, but I didn’t really no
And all my friends would tell me its time to let go!
But you did, you came back, like I hoped you would
You made me feel happy in a way no one else could
I can’t say you haven’t hurt me, but I’ll forgive and forget
Because all the time I’ve spent with you I’ll never regret
You make me feel special, and I feel that it’s true
That the love I feel now, is only for you!
