To Every Lonely Soldier

The sun doesn't set quite the same where you are
And your loved ones sure miss you as you are so far
But keep up your spirit, don't despair any more
And don't let them tell you 'you're alone in this war'Just look into the eyes of the children you're saving
And the whole new path that for them you are paving
And remember your efforts, your loneliness, your fear
Are appreciated daily and your sacrifices held dear
These times they are hard, many argue and disagree
But you are the donor of our life that is free
So do not anguish when you get to rest
