Little Star of David

Did you know that it is you who is causing all of this pain,
This shame, this worry, this awe, this way of life,
my little star of David?
Everyday I think of how to fix this,
Everyday I try to make it right

But it doesn’t work out,
It never does,
I end up freaking out,
Causing so much loss,

This waste of time, this petty crime,
Is my little star of David,
You’ll understand and we’ll find a plan,
Hopefully making things work,
I hope it does soon enough,

Thanks for asking to be,
My little star of David,
Thanks for being my friend,
Thanks for letting me know that through it all,
That our friendship will never end
