 | I met this guy during my first few weeks at college. I started liking him after talking to him one day in the lounge and realizing that he had a great personality. Let's call him Josh. Josh had a big reputation around campus as being a player, and he only seemed to have a flirtatious interest in me.I knew I would never stand out from all the other girls he paid attention to. I chased him around for about a month or so until I became reunited with one of my childhood friends. I really had strong feelings for this friend, who I'll call Brian. Brian and I talked constantly and I forgot all about the thing with Josh. So I started to date Brian, and we tried to maintain a long distance relationship. It wasn't easy. During this time, Josh and I were just good friends. One night, at a party, Josh and I started talking. It turned out we had been through similar experiences in High School, and we had a lot in common. So dead drunk, we both somehow made it back to the dorm. We ended up kissing a few times. I felt terrible for doing that to Brian. I got a strange feeling that Brian was going to break up with me, however. He finally did without a reason a few days later, and I was devastated. Josh comforted me and it seemed that we were going to maintain a close friendship. About two weeks later, Josh and I were hanging out after another party. We ended up hooking up, and I felt that it was just a one time thing. The next night however, he was acting very strange. We got into a fight after he accused me of trying to get with one of his friends. I was furious because I had done no such thing, and his roommate had told everyone that Josh had already made out with two girls that night. After we had been fighting for a few minutes, Josh loudly asked why I was acting like "last night" never happened. Fed up with his behavior, I screamed at him to just forget about it and get over it. He stormed out of the apartment we were at and locked him in his dorm room. When I arrived at the dorm later, his roommate informed me that Josh wanted to talk to me. Josh confessed he had feelings for me and that he was upset that I was angry with him. After hanging out a lot more after that, I wanted to give him a chance. We both fell for each other and we've been together for a few weeks now. He has been amazing, and it just goes to show that you can find love in unexpected places!
