 | Tis, the season to be merry,
But still the tears will fall.
The emptiness that we feel inside,
Is missing them one and all.
Still the years just pass us by,
The holidays will come and go.
Our empty hearts will yearn for them,
Our children to come home.
So if there is a Santa Claus,
Could you ask them please?
To come and have just one more year,
And put our hearts at ease.
We miss the Christmas spirit
And the warmth of home
The sounds of family cheering
And knowing we’re not alone.
Santa can you help us?
Bring them home this year.
Grant this Christmas wish we ask
And dry these lonely tears.
