 | The cool fall days of Autumn,
Tell us all the time is here,
For ghosts and goblins haunting,
'cause Halloween is near.
The spooks and witches creeping,
Send shivers down our spines.
With thoughts of doom impending,
They paralyze the mind.
Their size keeps on increasing,
Their power grows and grows.
And why our hearts go racing,
Heaven only knows.
But just as danger finds us,
In the middle of the night.
Our Mother hears us screaming,
And then turns on the light.
The monsters fade to nothing,
Our fears are laid to rest.
Our Mother is our hero,
All our friends say she's the best.
For now, the fun is over,
But we finally have a plan.
When the next night comes a creeping,
And we can do it all again.
