I remember you

Gazing at the endless surf,
In a quiet place,
I think of you
Unbidden memories rise

Like the beginning of day
So strong I can touch the
Thought of you
Still pictures flicker in and out
As the shadows at dusk do
In minds eyes I see your face
From along time ago
Like Peter Pan you were the leader of the band
Brave and fearless and strong
From cowboys and Indians
Hide seek in the dark
To listless days on the way
And sometimes the tattletale
But always in awe of you
Big Brother
Everything came so easy to you
Do you remember those days?
Past ten the years have sped by
And our lives are no longer entwined
The Indians have long gone
Our horses rod away years ago
And now the only hide and seek I play is with my keys
But the pictures I hold in my heart of you and me will never change
I Remember You!
