Cupid, cupid with your arrows please answer me today
the shot did hit, it should have missed
please take the pain away
you hit me once before you know and it turned right
so were you blind while you were aiming
on that faithless night?
I knew my heart and so did you and you knew his too
Are you twisted? are you sick?
Please say whats wrong with you
Are you seeking sweet revenge for a bad deed done?
Did you fall in love yourself thinking
she's the one?
Did she then change her mind and leave you in the dust?
and then you turned your heart to steel
and let it go to rust
Are you trying to ruin love for all of those you see?
or did you have one thing in mind
and set your sights on me
I came to you once before seeking loves advice
and sad to say I listened then
and had to pay the price
Speak up now tell me the truth I really need to know
holding back that poison arrow
