Confessions of a cutter

It hurts
knowing nothing can help you
youve lost your worth
because of what lifes come to
you've lost all hope
and now you have scars from the knife
you start to choke
it'll determine the rest of your life

having everything taken
in a heartbeat
mom and dad are unaware
of what you can plainly see

and you just wanna forget
to erase the things youve done
go back to an untouched arm
people stare at you when you walk by
they don't understand your hidden cry
and now you trace your body from one wrist to the another
cause these are your confessions

cause you hear them mummer your name
but lifes just gods monopoly
and your eventually gonna loose the game

And you still go to sunday school
to give jesus your covered pleas
but you see them stare at you
and now your on your knees
