Keep in touch

I wrote it the day after the night that I was emotionally depressed. I texted popz, getting strength from him and I received nothing. Have read with my poem. Dedicated to popz; May 01, 2005



We been lovers for so long
Delighted and gloomy we been along
We will be good friends not only lovers
We told it to each other

And as our being lovers end
Am hoping friendship cease ain't tend
But what is this happening;
All you doing is leaving;

Took my pride and get the first shift
Hoping it will be a successful step
That we could go so far
Even as true friend we could truly are

So am keeping in touch with you
Hoping you're going too
As what our vow before
Forever friends we therefore
