 | Your ignorance is my bliss.
As your smarts seep through my hands
I knew I wouldn’t ever miss,
You and me.
Set beside like an old trophy you tell tales,
As I continue to collect dust.
Packed in with junk I forget you and I ever
Were together.
You failed me twice and not a third
For I know that I’m better than what level you stoop to.
In this moment of being held in, I wish to be a bird
Be free and fly to my happy place.
Happy place isn’t your arms anymore.
My love for you is thinner than lace itself.
Bliss has become my fuel for life,
And I know when I die it wont be caused by your strife
It will be because the acid of smarts you do have,
Melted me down.
