Back From the Start Again

I can't help but think of you every day
When we first kissed you took my breath away
When I first saw you I couldn’t speak
My Heart began to get real weak

No one ever made me feel this way
You were my first so what could I say
When you got the courage to ask me out
I said "Yes" without a doubt

You said you always wanted to be with me
It felt like my heart was finally set free
When you asked me to stay for the night
I knew right then and there you was so right

Later that night you walked me back home
You told me that you never wanted me to be alone
I was scared to tell you how I truly felt
But I knew that this was the perfect time to get it all out

I started to think we was moving to fast
I wanted our love and friendship to last
I knew this love had to come to an end
I had to go back to just calling you my friend
