I'm currently fighting a drug addiction and your poem relates to my life, even through it's not meth as my drug of choice. I think anyone who is an addict can relate to this poem and how powerful drugs are and how we become powerless.

I too am fighting a drug addiction and I can totally relate!Its good to know that im not alone in this fight.

I am having hell trying to fight my drug addiction and I feel so alone I read this poem and I cried bcause it is so powerful and really grabs the heart.

I'm currently clean off meth and thank God I'm still alive I almost died numerous times lost my daughter to the state fought like hell to get her back and won over victory only to fall short of soberiety hundreds of times and lost my morals slept with the meth cook and his son and saw horrific illusions and thats just the tip of the ice berg Now I'm a mother of 3 engaged to a wonderfull man and I am tring like hell to obey Gods word .Not to mention I'm struggling tring to get my 16 year old nephew off meth and Herion.If your reading this just know that theres hope and Please seek help NOW because Meth is A KILLER trust me it WILL KILL YOU you won't be the exception... Did you know a guy by the name of Ace Saiz said he wrote this and it is being published as such, he said he wrote it in Federal Prison Florence, Colorado in 2004? I'm thinking his drug habit is not all he's lied about

My father is hooked on "ICE" and I have tryed ever thing I can to get him to stop but he dont want to. Before he started useing I was a daddys girl but now I cant even get 1 day a month with drugs has took over his life he lost his wife his home his job and now hes lost me and his grandson. We cant take it anymore the way he looks and acks. He only has any thing to do with me when he needs something and he is out of drugs so his drug buddies are not there then I can have a few min with him till he gets more then its back to no daddy. So what I am trying to say all of you parents out there doing drugs your kids suffer from it. It hurts like hell thank about them for once. Comming from a daughter who knows.

This poem is deep. It makes me think about alot of people in this situation. My sister, and ex boyfriend are meth addicts, and anytime I try to help I just get pushed away... I believe that this poem could make addicts really think about changing the way they think about doing drugs, maybe help them. I believe that if addicts want help, they have to wanna help themselves first.

this poem is the truth. my dad has become more && more addicted to it, && it hurts me && everyone else who loves/cares about him. he has totaly forgotten about his life. it does destroy people who do it, but it also destroys the familY of the people who are addicted to it.

this hits me major because some of my friends and my dad used to do it and when I sent this to my friends I got 2 of them to stop.thank you who ever wrote this.it means so much cause you saved them.

This poem was read at a friends funeral just a couple day's ago, she died of a meth overdose, It is just devastating the effect that this drug has. I watched this womens nine year old daughter go through emotions that she didn't even know she had as she watched her mothers casket being closed for the final time.If you are taking this drug, seek help it is a killer and is more powerful then any person can imagine.

This is a really good poem. I am only 11 years old and we r learning how dangerous this drug is! when I found u on the net I read this poem started to cry, and one day I hope Crystal meth will be die, this drug is so bad and it tears families apart, so I am taking a stand, and its in my heart!

I was a meth user for 2 years not that long but it turned my whole world around I got moved to foster care I went from home to home and now I am in a treatment center and I think about my past and I think to myself METH SUXS. and I think that if I had the chance to do it agian I would, sad and I am only 14. but thts why I am in my treatment center and I am getting help yay thanks for writing this everybody

This poem is so true. My brother was on that and he is now in prison facing 14yrs. The bad part is, He's only 23. He has 3 kids who need a father. It has totaly screwed up his life, He also lost his kids over it. This poem really got to me.

Everything stated in this oh so true poem, I am going through.I am 20 and and have to kids that now are in my mothers household.Without them I am lifeless.They have been able to touch their daddy only 5 months their entire life (they are 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. He has seen Christmas twice in the past 9 years, the rest he has been in the locked up in the pen.

My heart does go out to all of you. I know that you chose this but living in a world like we do now it is hard to escape the pressures in life such as doing any type of drug. I personally don't do drugs and never have nor will because I have seen what it can do to people and that makes me not want to touch it. I hope that all of you can get help or stay clean whatever your case but just keep in mind that you are very lucky because millions of people die to this stuff every year and its getting worse. May God Bless each of you and may all of you never forget where your blessings come from.

I had read this poem before supposaly a guy wrote it in prison that they gave him life and he wrote it to his mother to make copies of it and let the world read it to see if it helps them stop and think about life,I mean life is short already why make it shorter?If u are on it don't even think about it please find help!Sadly but true my only brother got addicted worse when he got with his girlfriend he met her on it,so he tried it too now he don't like coke he says coke is for the rich people every 30 min and meth is for the p*or it last and last,for me it tears me apart to hear him say that and to see him on it with his eyes wide open and full of energy he tells me his been of it for 4 months,which I know and he knows that his lieing it just breaks my heart to see my only brother I love him so much his a nice guy and careing when his not on it but when his on it,his a diffrent person he fights alot with his girlfriend,he doesn't pay attention to his 1oyr old son,he yells to his son for no reason,its just sad to hear my nephew tell my mom why his daddy don't love him anymore ever since he got with his girlfriend and doesn't go watch him play,[when he has a soccer game]but he doesn't yet know why his daddy perfers being high than anything else even my nephew notice the diffrence thats sad,So all u people out there please STOP your still in time your ALIVE give thanks to god that your in this world and still breathing think about your kids, Do u want to see your kids when they are fool grown?Do u want to meet your grandsons or your grandaughters?Well get help and love them and teach them that drugs are bad and what they do "DESTROY FAMILLYS"and u people that sale it please"STOP"all your doing is helping destroy famillys it may be easy money but that is wrong get a JOB!

I really enjoyed reading this poem every thing is so real about it. I have seen my good friends go through the drug phase and it hurts knowen you cant do any thing to stop them. the drug is there mind and they will do any thing to just get there hands on it. stay away from the groupes or people that do it cuz its not worth it if you get invovled cuz more than likely you will never get out again

When I read this poem, I bawled. Meth does tear everything apart. And you have no choice, like it says... if you try it twice.. it owns your soul.... Everyone I know is either in Jail or about to be there... all because of meth. I let it take control of me, and so did my brother.... ive lost friends to meth related murders... and Im from a very small town. The sh*ts no joke. BUT I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY... If you never done it, you REALLY HAVE NO IDEA. Seriously.... you cant even begin to understand what happens... people say just quit... stop... ITS FREAKIN HARD... thats why the recovery rate is zero. Ive been clean for a year but I think about it every day.... and I bet I still couldnt say no. So if you dont know, dont judge... just Say No the first time someone asks you.... Save your life... say No.

When I read this poem it reminded me of the past I use to be on meth and all those things are exactly what happend I put my parents through HELL and I didnt care..all I wanted to do was get high..things like this really help me stay clean and remind me what will happen if I go back

This Poem is so incredible. A close friend of mine fell in the arms of this awful drug. She has a wonderful daughter and I worry everyday about that child. I have two of my own and cannot understand why you would do this to your own child. I pray everyday that she gets help or gives her child to someone who can care for her. If I knew were she was now I would try to get that child. I don't think there is anything anyone can say to someone who is addicted to meth to make them stop. They need to hit their bottom. And maybe by taking her daughter that will be hers. I will keep everyone in my prayers. I believe everyone deserves a second chance. There was at one time good in everyone's heart. godbless

I really love this poem. It hit home for me because I am an addict in recovery, I appreciated being reminded the truth about meth. It is a horrible drug and others need to know that it will take your life.

I really like that poem it does touch your heart because its so real i have a friend that just started using crystal meth amd he doesnt act the way he use to and im afraid that he's hooked because i've told him if he's addicted and he says its hard to quit.But thanx for the poem
