Broken heart for a shattered soul


	I cry myself to sleep at night, Because I'm in a constant fight, Between my own self and mind, I can't do this any more, It's destroying my life! I'm hurt, I'm lonely, And I just want to see, Someone who cares, Someone who's there, Not only because they think I'm pretty, But because they care about me, My eyes have cried too many tears, It feels like it's been so many years, Since we were together, You said " FOREVER ", But I guess you were lieing, About your love for me, About the blame, About the loneliness, About the pain, It's too much for me, I can't take it, I'm scared to give you my heart again, Scared you might break it, But then again, Who can break, A heart that's willing to take, A risk, Anything to be with you, For one more kiss, For one more "I love you", And yet you walk away, Telling me to wait for a new day, To find someone else to love, To find someone else to hug, How could you do this to me, To the one you so called cared for, I'm hurting all the way to my inner core, The pain is killing me, I can't sleep, Don't watch me, As I weep... *Written by Destiny Nicole Ivy* Submitted by Destiny Nicole Ivy

Your poem is truely awsome....Ive been there....Im still there I know exactly wat you mean.Your word arrangement is good....But It takes True understandment of the situation to write a poem likr that....So im sorry you had to go through it....But the poem is good!Keep at it.

Your poem is really awsome, I do understand what you are going through because I'm going throught it right now. Yeah it hurts but some times it helps just to wright about it. Keep up the good work. Hope to read some more of your great work. P.S Keep your chin up things will get better!
