Hate

Eyes filled with hate
Burning through my skin
Destroying my soul

The words said
So cruel, so hateful
There’s no love for me here

Let me out of this cage
They hold my sanity hostage
The end of hope is near

Things will never get better
I hold guilt of past mistakes
Even though they’re fixed

Take me away from this misery
Your words echo inside my mind
My faults are too much for me

I can’t bear the thought
Of knowing you’ll never love me
My heart is crying for acceptance

Now I’ve given up
On making you love me
