Searching, Wanting, Waiting

Searching for the one to fill my soul,
Wanting to be loved and fill whole.
Waiting for the day for that to come true,
Hoping that someday it will be you.
Taking the time to make you happy,
Making my insides feel all sappy.
My head begins to turn around,
Hoping to hear your sweet sound.
Lurking upon the thought of us together,
I don’t ever want us to change like weather.
Escaping the pain from what was once there,
Expressing emotions of being scared.
The thought of us and only us,
Making it feel like it is just right.
Taking a step further to make it feel true,
Hoping that someday it will be you.
