YOU DOUBTED ME

Growing up you said I would never amout to nothing
I'd end up just like my mother a total nothing
And for a while I thought I would cause that's all you'd say and I never understood...You called me a liar....
You call me a thief.....
The only thing I ever wanted to do was to make you HAPPY!!!

You compared me to everyone and neva stoped to see the person I was.

I really though you HATED ME!!

For years and years I did my best to prove you wrong
I stayed in school and did a damn good job staying STRONG...
There were rough times in my life and I neva though I'd make it through but remembering what you said I had too...

People make mistakes and I paid the price but look at me now I have SURVIVED...

I'm raising 3 kids now on MY OWN LAND...
I also have a wonderful JOB with no MAN.....
GOD has BLESSED me abundantly this is true.
But I have to give all THANKS and PRAISES to you...

I just want to let you know I am not that person you'd thought I be
This is who I am, I am ME.............
