 | I woke up one morning to a still and silent world
Nothing was moving; I was all alone.
I soared up into the sky and laughed
The whole earth was mineBut why stop there?
Up and up I flew, high into the air
The solar system was mine,
The galaxy was mine,
But I did not stop until I held the universe in my hand
Then I saw the star
Its radiance out shone the countless millions that were mine
Its single beauty made me spin
And now I had a choice
The one, or the many?
For me there was no choice
It was, it is, and forever shall be
The one.
