One Like You

When I feel saddened by what the world has for me
I think of things that weren’t meant to be
But I keep a smile even when I’m blue
So that you’ll smile back when I smile at you
And when that smile of yours shines on me
It always seems to make me so happy
I think of your smile everyday
It keeps my days from being so gray
I look at the stars from night to night
Hoping that the things I do are right
I hope that you have feelings too
Like feelings that I have for you
But if you don’t I won’t be sad
Cause I met you and it makes me glad
To know that there is one like you
One that can make me feel so true
