 | I never felt so cold and so alone,
You left me here all by myself to defend against the cruel surface of the world.
When will I learn, my friends told me.
How can I be so blind my father asked me?
I wanted you with me;
I wanted to feel the warmth of your arms around me,
But you pushed me aside and betrayed me,
left me and then ignored me.
My life took a great leap over the edge,
but you just sat back and laughed.
You feel no regret,
and you don’t issue any pity.
I looked to the comfort of friends and found there was none.
You took them from me when you took my heart.
Now I’m cold,
Alone,
And empty
All because of you.
Walking around I looked for comfort,
and found a girl who looked worse than I did.
I talked to her and tried to help her out.
I asked her, her name, but she just started to speak,
She told me a story of manipulation and fear.
At the end of her story she looked at me,
And whispered that she wanted a new beginning.
I hugged her so that
I could give her the support I never had.
But as I did I felt something pull me away from her,
All of a sudden she was in chains,
and all I heard from her was…
“I did start a new beginning,
but it could only begin with the end of his life.”
I turned from her a moment and then looked back but she was gone.
The only thing left was the hollowness of her words in my head,
I then realized it was all in my head,
and whom I had spoke with was me
If I had ran after you.
