Reaching out to you,
reaching for what?
I feel it slipping,
struggling to regain control.How could they say it's wrong,
when nothings felt this right?
My eyes search yoru soul,
looking for truth, lies, internal calm.
The reflection scares you,
finally realizing your alone.
When you were near me,
did you feel this alone?
When our bodies were intwind,
did you feel this alone?
I called for you,
but my voice fell upon deaf ears.
I reached for you,
but you pulled away.
Already accepting your demise,
with a bowed head in defeat.
I am strong,
but to me you are weak.
