You were my friend, my girl and soon to be my lover
But as time went by
Your true colours began to show
Relationship got sour and secrets got exposed
All the same I still took you as my Queen
Little did I know the end would be near for us as a team
If I was emotional my tears could have filled a stream
Maybe even a river or an ocean
Cause the way you broke me, after I gave so much devotion
I never loved you but I gave you mad respect
You didn’t show me none so I put our relationship in check
Am I bitter? Well yeah
Cause this pain I go through I render so unfair
I never saw you as stunning, or my type of girl
But da feelings I occasionally had, had me on top of da world
Basically you hurt me and I hope 1 day you know
So you can at least sympathise with me
But for now Your young you still have time to grow
I accept that but that’s still not excuse
For the pain, the stress and the misuse
I do dislike you and nearly hate you
However I'm a forgiver and would like to forgive you
So I hope this poem helps to ease the pain
Cause your loss will prove to be someone else’s gain
