yes I agree. only because I have been through it. yes it gave me control for a little bit but then I had to do it again and again. it didn't work. i'm putting my life back on track and it has been a hard road. but i'm glad i'm changeing

Hi everyone I am the one who wrote this and I werent tryin to say anything affend anyone and I was just sayin this cause I almost lost someone cause they cut their self. hey I know you did not mean to offend anyone I just want you to know when you tell people that they are wrong for cutting it is going to offend them because unless you know there story its not fair to say its worng it does only let the pain go for a second but if you had had to wake up every day and hate your life and everything about your self you would do anything to make yourslef feel better if only for a few seconds I know your life has not been easy but if you had only one thing that made you happy and made you feel if only for a few seconds I think that you would do it too.

its not that I want to be rude or that I want to destroy your opinion but if u never cut, dont talk about cutters and their resaons to cut...cuz really, everyone cuts for different reasons. n it happens that I cut to give myself pain instead of taking some away, so sometimes cutting IS a good thing (for me anywayzz). And think about this: if ever someone u REALLY love is depressive, n is thinking about suicide, what would u rather see that person doing? giving herself a lot of pain all at once and killing herself or cutting to get a little bit of pain everyday, just to stay alive????
anywayz, good for u if u dont cut but pleaz dont try to convince people not to, or especially, cutters to stop cutting...cuz I dont think it really helps. I believe there is no good or wrong, only solutionz and wayz depending on what people go through and who they r...so just let people be! they must be knowing whats good for them.
but if u r able to live without cutting I still encourage u to do so n I truely admire u!!!

Ok my names Cassie.
I guess you dont know much about the feelings "cutters feel"
But they feel like the worlds going to end and you cant stop the pain and for that they cut.
They dont like that they cut and understand that its not going to take away the pain froever but at that right moment when they do it, it does take the pain away for awhile it might not be for long but it does take it away for just enough for then to have a paintless break.
I only know all this is because i have friends that once did it and so did i in year 8 i was getting payed out so much cause i hung out with all the boys and didnt wear alot of make up back then like all the other girls.
There was a couple of times in class i cried and walked out of class and even got teased about that. I stoped eating propally because everyone was calling me fat even tho i knew i wasnt but cause the popular kids said it i believed. My mum and dad divoced when i was just about 1 never had any contact from him till i was 8.
Now am forced to see him but hes not the perfect dad hes a druggy and a acholic and lots more but ive stopped and learnt alot but i dont say i regret that part of my life it tourght me heaps but please dont post things like this when you dont know what they go through because you dont know why they do it or what they feel and they know it doesnt take the pain away for ever its just a temparly situation for now. I do though understand that your just saying what you think but just think twice forever doing something like this.

I like the fact that your trying to understand where cutters are coming from but unless you've been one you don't understand. We realize that cutting won't take away the pain of being heart broken or hurt, but what we do know is that it will make us focus less on the pain we are feeling. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, that's not why i'm writing this... i jus get sick of people that have never been through alot of shit in there life judging us for something they don't understand... I've been a cutter since I was 13... I'm 18 now.. and unless you've really gone through the cutting you don't get how addicting it is.. anyways ya that's all i gotta say..sorry for sounding like a bitch
