I know this may seem kind of stupid coming from me, myself being a girl who is popular and a cheerleader but Im also into sports. all you have to do is make friends with a semi-popular guy in cl*ss and then hangout with him somtime when his guys are around trust me it works everytime. Or you could have a party at your house and invite him and tell him to bring his friends, then you have a chance to become part of the popular crowd.

I know exactly what you mean! I wasn't the cheerleader, or the popular one in school when it came to dating. I had quite a few male friends, but they all thought of me as "one of the guys". I used to cry and wonder why, if I was "so cool" they didn't like me. The only advice I can give you, is not to change for anyone...EVER! You shouldn't have to change who you are to appeal to someone else. If they like you AFTER you change, then they're not worth your time. You want to be with someone who likes you for YOU! I promise you that you will eventually find that person. I did! :) Good Luck - and stay just as cool as you are!

yeah you dont have to change your self just because of a guy just be yourself. and if you like someone dont hold it in tell them how u feel because that was my mistake and I really regret it but I just had to move on from that guy... but anyways just be your self and im pretty sure youll find someone,i havent yet but im just going in to high school and im pretty sure ill find sum 1 so good luck..........

This is my first post. I want to tell you that looks first of all don't matter at all. Now that may be scary first of all coming from a guy, but its true. I have a gorgeous girlfriend, not because she is physically beautiful, but because of who she is on the inside. That just makes me love her even more. You don't have to have a hot stud, or a football player, because when people go after other people because of their looks or status, there will not be love, and it will fall apart. Go after what your heart says, because when I got together with my girl, I didn't know much about her. I had seen her at school and she was in some of my cl*sses, but we never talked. I was talking to this cheerleader girl because she was nice. Sure she was a lot better looking than most girls and I thought she looked better than my current girlfriend at the time. but I didn't chase after her after I was set up on a blind date with my current girl. Then I realized truly how beautiful she was and still is. So maybe I could have ended up with a hot, sexy, cheerleader chick. but she would never give me the happiness that my girl does now, and she definately wouldn't care as much as she does. I'm going to be with this girl the rest of my life. And thats the way I want it. go with people who look at who you are on the inside, and only go for those who make you happy.

yeah, I agree with kevin, I had the hot, sexy, no.1 girl at school, but she wasn't the right kind of girl for me, I found a girl, shes very pretty, to me, which by the way, looks don't matter, we've been goin' out for a while now, and i'm going to ask her to marry me! tommorrow as a matter of fact, but yeah, with girls for me, it's all about the personality!

I have the same problem.. sorta. Im more "one of the guys" I dont remember the last time I wore a pair of pants or a t-shirt from the girls department. Honetsly. I have an orange mohawk and yeah sometimes I wish I was like a cheerleader or something so I could have the guy. But I wont change who I am just to get people to like me. I really like this kid luis and I think he likes me to cuzz we always flirt and hug but im only 14 and hes 18 and I will date him no matter what I just dont want him to get introuble but to me age id just a number.
