My Friend Emily

My friend the one who has never left my side,
In a couple of months, we'll be saying our goodbyes
Graduation is something we've looked forward to for a long time
but now we fear it and scared but we'll do just fine

Because no matter we will always be friends
Through big and little, thick and thin
Through all the bad times and all of the good
Times when others didn't think we would make it but we knew we would
I hope you know you will always be in my heart
Even if there comes a day when we must part
You're my very best friend that I have ever had
We've never had a fight or made each other mad
I hope our friendship never dies away
And you will remember me each and every day
