Someone

I found someone new
Someone that's true
Someone who I know
will never make me blue
when I'm with him I'm happy
I lose track of time
I'm always laughing
and damn he's a dime

He's nothing like my last
Now that I've found him
I can erase my past

He's not conceited or a d*ck
And he's definitely not a trick
He never makes me look bad
And he never makes me mad

We aren't dependent
upon each other
We like being independent
and I LOVE his mother

So what can I say
I'm having a good time
I like it this way
I'm doing better than fine

So for all of you
Whose ex's made you blue
Don't let them get to you
they should mean nothing to you

I learned the hard way
This I'll admit
What the hell was I thinking
I'm so glad I can forget

I'm gonna live life
For all that it's worth
While you hold that grudge
And say all those f*cked up words

I hope you regret this
either now or later
And I'll let you have your wish
