Waiting for next time

How can I help you if you don’t speak out?
How can I stop this pain?
You are slowly fading away
Your heart attacks your brain
I know you can’t find a way out
So you deface your skin
The crimson rivers flow
And drown your sorrow within
Overdose on some damn pills
And cut right to the bone
Why would you want to leave me?
To grieve for you all alone
I want to understand, but can't if you wont allow me
Don’t tell me you are fine
When you see your life as debris
Waiting for the next time you end up in hospital
Expressionless on that bed
All I can do is sit and wait
Next time you may end up dead.

hey, great poem
your writing technique is really unique and that's what caught me.
though I am suffering depression, I can see your frustration, and your poem helps me see what it's like to be on the other end, just trying to get in. it may feel as though you can't get through to them, and they are pushing you away, but it's harder than it seems to talk about it.
sometimes these thoughts in their mind will never change, but you can always be there for them..

keep up the good writing
