Dusk to Dawn

It's been sometime, since I wrote down how you make me feel
Think I'll drink some wine, make a toast to our free will

It's been a year, since I first felt your touch on my hand
It still brings a tear, to know what a lucky man I am
You've been a dream, and I'm waking to your warm embrace
It's like an eery scream, thinking back before your face

I hope that I have been, what you've always thought you wanted
It was an awful sin, bad memories linger often for the haunted

I've been me for so long, and now it's us from now on
Love me like a song, sing it softly, like dusk to dawn.
