Doubt

As I stood before her and offered my hand as a symbol of my love, she smiled and took one gentle step backwards, her eyes revealed the pain in her heart; as she turned to leave - She said there is love in my heart for you – more than you can imagine.It is a love I can not honor- it is a forbidden love, the candle, that burns in your heart full of faith, hope and love will diminish with time, forgive me.
