 | She walks shakened along a steep path.
Asking herself why did she get tangled in his wrath.
Why couldn’t she leave when he started to turn unkind.
Changing herself was easier then changing her mind.They all warned her, but she only went forth.
She didn’t know how much love was worth.
The life she once lived was fading away.
Like the sun drifting behind on a stormy day.
Her friends told her that he was like all guys.
Thoughts that run shallow and thin, words that are only lies.
Only being naïve, she never listened.
Her want for him still glistened.
Months went by, he grew stronger and meaner.
While her love for him grew weak and leaner.
She finally knew that he was wrong.
That this relationship lasted way to long.
She grew more mature and forgot about him.
Their memories were fading, increasingly dim.
He’s folded away like a paper in her pocket.
Occasional reminders that will always remain in her locket.
Lovers may come, but only one will remain.
Hearts will bleed, leaving many stains.
But always remember that only a few are bad.
Give all a chance, or u’ll never know what u could have had.
