Hollow Eyes

Upon these lines are so many rhymes
and I've fallen asleep a thousand times
But if someday you'd find me here
go away and come back next yearThere'll be no scent when dawn shall come
you'll forget who I am and where I'm from
for all my simple words to thee
come from as far as the depths of sea
If tomorrow comes and we meet again
these hollow eyes for you my friend
my fate to walk the earth alone
here's the longest night I've ever known.
